Raised on the beaches Mauritius and Durban, South Africa, Roxy grew up with the ocean in her backyard. Being blessed with a family of sun lovers, she spent most of her time in the salty water or on the beach in the sun. This olive skinned girl grew up in a bikini with sun kissed cheeks and sand between her toes.

Having a self-employed, self-sufficient mother, she was raised in a household where independence and entrepreneurship was always encouraged. Through her passion to own her own business and a solid education, the makings for something great was started at a young age.

Taking inspiration from exotic foreign beaches, and international trends, Roxy embarked on a new and exciting adventure – sourcing a collection of swimwear that would reflect her love of travel, striking bright colours and appreciation for a perfect fitting bikini. The Roxstar brand was born.
